Nigeria Football Association officials have washed their hands off the selection of players for the South Africa 2010 World Cup.

Technical committee chairman, Taiwo Ogunjobi stated that Eagles manager, Lars Lagerback was  responsible for the team selection and he is being depended upon to manage the team to posting  good results at the world soccer festival.

“We did not impose any player on the coach. It was entirely Lagerback’s doing, he arrived at his choice after undertaking a tour of Europe.“He is the coach of the team and he would be responsible for giving us good results,” Ogunjobi said.
