Recession: An opportunity for Nigerians to draw closer to God—Mouka

THE General Overseer of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, has enjoined Christians and Nigerians not to be troubled by the current economic recession in the country, but to seek the face of God for His intervention.

Pastor Mouka maintained that the recession should rather draw the people closer to God with the belief that the situation would soon be over.

Speaking, during the church 2-days interdenominational crusade, titled: “Hope for the Needy” Mouka said the challenges facing the country would be a thing of the past when Nigerians turn to God and become more prayerful. The cleric expressed the hope that Nigeria would bounce back to become one of the most successful countries in the world if only Nigerians will draw closer to God.

He said: “The fact still remains that God is the hope of the needy and that the nation should draws closer to God at a time like this, I pray that God almighty will visit our nation and bless her and make her great. Nigerians should draw closer to God. What is happening is not peculiar to the country; it’s the end time prophecy. Christ is coming so everybody should take advantage of now and amend their way before it is too late.”

Moreover, inside the crusade ground, thousands of worshipers were seeing all over the place about listening to various songs ministration from the church choir, mind blowing testimonies and the word of consolation, comfort and hope from the church general overseer.

Expressing his gratitude to God for the various great miracles, salvation of souls that He had wrought through the ministry, he pointed out that God is always available to answer the prayer of the needy adding that there is hope for those who are currently facing one challenges or the other.
