The Esama of Ukepedi Kingdom, Delta State, Olorogun Okiemute Okwagbe, has urged Governor Ifeanyi  Okowa to fulfill  his electioneering campaign promises to the people of Okwagbe as the people are worried that there is no government presence in the community.

Okwagbe, who is also a Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, leader, said in Ughelli  that the people of the community are accusing him of misleading them to cast their votes for the PDP during the 2015 governorship election in  Delta.

He appealed to Okowa to come to the community aid  especially in the area of constructing water channels to check flood, saying the people felt he deceived them to cast their votes for PDP, because there is not government presence yet in the community.

The Esama added that the people had asked to fulfill his  promises to the community or be prepared for a political battle in the upcoming local government elections in the first quarter  of 2017 and on the  2019 general elections.
