Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, has called on medical professionals in Nigeria to look into the health condition of the down trodden in the country.
Making the call during the official commissioning of the new Magnetic Resonance Imaging, MRI, a new imaging facility promoted by the Reddington Hospital, in Lagos, Oba Akiolu, who commended the management of the hospital for the provision of Nigeria’s first General Electric 1.5 Tesla MRI explore with contrast free imaging technology, lamented the absence of a holistic health policy for the down-trodden.
Chief Executive of Officer of Reddington Group, Dr. Adeyemi Onabowale, said the purpose of re-launching the MRI Centre at the Purple Ray Diagnostic centre is to create awareness.
The high point of the event was the viewing of cardiac catheterization Lab; viewing of MRI centre, and viewing of Purple Ray Centre.
