Delta APC faults PDP’s criticism of Buhari

President Buhari

Delta State chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, has dismissed criticisms against the ruling party by the Peoples Democratic Party in the state, saying the PDP has no moral basis to speak.

Chairman of APC in the state, Prophet Jones Erue, in a statement, condemned claims by the Delta State chairman of the PDP, Chief Kingsley Esiso, that “the economic policies so far initiated by All Progressives Congress, APC, in the country were injurious to Nigerians” and that the party loved to deceive Nigerians.

Responding, Erue said it was shameful that an official of the PDP anywhere in the country, particularly the Chairman of PDP in Delta State, would have the nerve to attack what he described as the rescue and growth policies of a progressive government like the APC.

He argued that most of  what APC had to divert its energies into since coming into power had been to focus on rescuing Nigeria from the abyss that PDP sunk her into.

According to Prophet Erue, “Nigerians are today witnessing the inglorious looting and the spate of underdevelopment that took place under the PDP government when oil prices remained at a very high level. PDP must be thankful to the APC government for the effort it has put in to bail out the dreadful economy of most states occasioned by the previous PDP raids on the purse of our nation.”
