Delta State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has assured the people of the state that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa will execute more developmental projects in the three senatorial districts in fulfillment his electioneering campaign promises

Chairman of the party, Olorogun Kingsley Esiso, who spoke during his official visit to Sapele Local Government branch of the party, advised members to work as a family to maintain the party’s winning ways.

In a related development, about 3,000 members of All Progressives Congress, APC, in the council have reportedly defected to PDP.
Speaking to the defectors, Esiso urged them to join other members to work assiduously to give the party its mandate in 2019 and beyond.

He said: ‘’I urge all Deltans to rally round the governor because that will help him to deliver more democratic dividends to all Deltans in-spite of the economic recession and poor resources confronting the state.’’

Earlier, the Chairman of Sapele Local Government, Ejaife Odebala; project director Asaba International Airport Austin Ayemidejor; PDP chairman Sapele, David Oghenekevwe and former Minister of Information, Prof. Sam Oyovwiare, expressed joy over the chairman’s visit to Sapele council and promised to work with the party and the state government, while assuring him of the party’s victory in 2019 and beyond.
