A HEALTH camp designed to promote a healthy lifestyle among Nigerians has been held in nine states of the Federation.

The exercise which offered basic medical screening including checks for blood pressure, weight, BMI, cholesterol level and free consultation, took place in Lagos, Abuja, Oyo, Osun, Imo, Onitsha, Rivers, Kano and Kaduna recorded over 450,000 beneficiaries.

Speaking at the Palace of Moniya Monarch in Ibadan, Oyo State, the Public Relations Manager, Power Oil, Omotayo Azeez said the initiative was to  encourage Nigerians to pay more attention to their health and be cautious about the quality of what they consume in order to maintain a healthy heart.

“Power oil as a brand is on a mission to encourage and enlighten Nigerians on the need to embark on periodic medical check-up and to bring into the consciousness of every Nigerian the need to live a healthy heart lifestyle,” she said.

Elated Monarch of Moniya Community, Chief Karimu Adigun, commended the initiative, noting that it was new in the community

Representative of Moniya Women leader, Mrs. Risikatu Muraina, remarked that  there was now better enlightenment about the importance of regular medical checkup and healthy eating pattern.

The event was put together by Raffles oil LFTZ Enterprise, makers of  Power Oil.
