Former Barcelona forward and coach of the Nigeria U-20 team Emmanuel Amuneke has said that Wolfsburg teen sensation, Victor Osimhen will be a big hit in Germany, like fellow Nigerian Kelechi Iheanacho is in England.

The players have similar career path as they both secured transfer abroad after picking up the top scorer award at the U-17 World Youth Championship, with Iheanacho winning the award in 2013 while Osimhen won it in 2015.

Iheanacho has taken to life in the English Premier League like a duck to water and Amuneke who also trained Iheanacho at the U-17 level is backing Osimhen to be a big hit in Germany.

“What do you need to succeed in Europe?, good work ethics, skills, mental strength and focus. Osimhen has it all, he only needs some little bit of fine tuning and body strength. He will be a big hit in Germany just like Iheanacho is in England,”he said.
