Atleast three persons were confirmed dead in the early hours of Wednesday, in a multiple auto crashes involving four articulated trucks, a vehicle, in which several property estimated to worth millions of Naira destroyed, following a tanker explosion on the ever busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

In another incident, a tanker somersaulted while on high speed at the Otedola end of the express road, injuring two unidentified persons.

The incidents led to a total standstill of vehicular movement resulting in terrible traffic, while stranded passengers trekked long distance to their various destinations.

Vanguard gathered that the explosion which occurred at about 3:08 am resulted into the explosion and multiple crashes.
