Former Sultan, Alhaji Ibrahim Dasuki
Former Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi, Alhaji Saidu Jahun, said on Tuesday that Nigeria would miss the contributions of the former Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Ibrahim Dasuki.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Jahun was reacting to the death of Dasuki, which occurred in Abuja on Monday.

“The death of former sultan of Sokoto came as a shock to entire Nigerians as nobody heard of his sickness but learnt of his death.
“Every Muslim knows that death is inevitable but the death of late Ibrahim Dasuku has shocked everybody who knows him.
“His death is coming at a time when Nigerians and the country at large need the advice of such calibre of people, especially now that the country is going through trying period,” he said.
Jahun, who is also a traditional title holder of the ‘Galadima’ of Bauchi prayed God to grant his soul, eternal rest and the courage for Nigerians to bear the pains of his death. (NAN)
