BENIN—CHAIRMAN, Ijaw National Congress, INC, Western zone, comprising Delta, Edo and Ondo states, Chief Robinson Ogunkoru, has said that Boma Obuoforibo, not Alatubo Charles Prieye Harry, is the national president of the congress. Ogunkoru, who spoke to NDV on the leadership tussle rocking INDC, said Harry was alien to the body.

His words: ”As chairman of INC, western zone (Delta, Edo and Ondo States), I want the general public to know that Boma Obuoforibo is the only and one president of INC. The name Alatubo Charles Prieye Harry is alien to us. He is not the president of INC.

“INC is a well structured organization with her various organs such clans, chapters, zones e.t.c, which are all responsible for the conduct of election of the INC president and other national officers.   They were all involved during the National Convention where election was conducted and Obuoforibo emerged as national president.”

His words: “It is unfortunate that a young man like Charles Harry will allow himself to be used, because he wants cheap popularity or to be relevant.

“The world should please ignore him, he may be used by forces beyond his control. In fact, that Alatubo Prieye Charles Harry is claiming to be the president of the all respected Ijaw National Congress (INC) worldwide is the greatest embarrassment of the year to all Ijaw people of the western zone, made of Delta, Edo and Ondo states.”
