Evwreni Clan Improvement Union, ECIU, of Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, has elected new officers to run the Lagos branch of the body for the next three years.

ECIU is an umbrella body of Evwreni sons and daughters living in the country and in the Diaspora.

At the  election, Olorogun Emmanuel Edekunu was elected  President while Dr. Sunday Okpako was elected Vice-President.

Others are  Ighorodge Oghene Joseph, (Secretary), Mr. Kingston Fashe, (Assistant Secretary), Akpomedaye Igbru, (Public Relations Officer), Avuomarayewhe Peter, (Treasurer), Monday Ajose, (Financial Secretary) and Peter Unukefe, (Welfare Officer).

In his acceptance speech, Edekunu promised to do everything possible with the cooperation of everybody to bring positive development to Evwreni Kingdom.
