EAU confers honorary degree on Ilogu

FORMER Head of Department,   Educational Foundations, University of Lagos, Prof.  Guy Chibuzoh Ilogu has been conferred with the prestigious honorary Doctorate Degree award by the European American University in Common Wealth of Dominica, held at the University of Ghana.

Addressing guests at the occasion, Head, International Relation, Integrity International, Engr. Joseph Ododo, explained that the honour on the recipient was in recognition of his outstanding achievements and contributions observed and strongly appreciated by the University, the European-American University.

According to him, it is part of EAU’s programme to encourage excellence and acknowledge the contribution of respectful distinguished men and women world wide. Thus, EAU  proposed through its African Operations office, to confer honorary doctorate degrees to those who have made outstanding contributions in academic, politics, business administration, religion and humanitarian services in the advancement of humanity in general.

Professor Ilogu was nominated as one of such distinguished personalities to be honored with honorary doctorate degree (D.sc Hons) of Science in Educational Development and Management.

The ceremony witnessed the attendance of Head of Department Educational Foundations, Unilag, Prof. Ngozi Osarenren, Dr. Olaotan Kuku, Miss Blessing Nnenna Ilogu and Pastor Emmanuel Humphrey of Living Faith Church (a.k.a winners chapel) among others.
