Lagos—THE National President of the Baptist Academy Old Students Association, BAOSA, Mr. Lanre Idowu has called on former students of the institution to ensure that they contribute their quota to the nation’s development.

He said this at the 161st Founder’s Day Celebration in Lagos.

His words: ‘’ It is a day of remembrance when the mind travels back in history to the years of innocence when youths, barely weaned off their household grips, made fresh contacts that later transformed into lifelong friendships and acquaintances. It is a day to remember the good times and the not-so-good times.

‘’Alumni of Baptist Academy must realise that as much as set chapters of BAOSA are important to the growth and development of the school and the association, the parent body must be accorded the support required to project that brand identity effectively.

”We need to improve communication between the chapters and the centre, for no matter how luxuriant the branches of a tree appear, they cannot thrive for long without the roots.”
