All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman Chief John Odigie Oyegun and Minister of Transportation, Mr Chubuike Amaechi

WARRI—NATIONAL Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, will next week meet with the 7-man leadership council set up, last Wednesday, to resolve the crisis bedeviling the party, to review its progress, amid reports that there are murmurings over the “peace terms” reached at Abuja.
The council is co-chaired by the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu and 2015 governorship aspirant of the party in the state, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor.
Other members of the council are former Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Victor Ochei, Labour Party candidate in the 2015 governorship election in the state, Chief Great Ogboru, state chairman of the party, Prophet Jones Erue and Itsekiri business mogul and politician, Chief Ayirimi Emami.
Also part of the council is Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, representing Delta Central senatorial district in the Senate on the platform of Labour Party, LP, who has not formally declared for the APC, but his soul is already in APC.
Chief Odigie-Oyegun confirmed in a phone chat with Vanguard, while Chief Emami, a top leader of the party from Delta South senatorial district, said: “Yes, we agreed at our last meeting in Abuja to meet with the national president in two weeks to review our progress.”
