Uyo—MEMBERS of the House of Representatives have asked Nigerians to hold the executive arm of government responsible for the poor monetary allocation to the health sector, lamenting that though they have passed appropriate bills into laws, the executive has been implementing those laws.
They spoke in Uyo, weekend, during a one-day retreat on the National Immunisation Financing Task Team, NIFT.
The legislators called for stronger collaboration between the National Assembly and civil society organisations including the media in projecting shared commitment to achieving better quality healthcare system for Nigerians.
