Yola—Adamawa State government, yesterday, constituted a five-man panel of investigation to look into the activities of the Millenium Development Goals, MDGs, since 2007.

While inaugurating the panel, the Deputy Governor, Mr. Martin Babale, who stood in for Governor Mohammed Jibrilla, charged members of the committee to investigate all allocations made to the state MDGs from inception to date and ascertain the money received from the Federal Government as counterpart funding.

The committee, which has Alfa Belel, a retired Assistant Commissioner of Police as chairman, has four weeks within which to submit its report.

Other members include Jim Audu, Shuaibu Babas and Ayuba Tumba, while Musa Ahmed Gaude is Secretary of the panel.
