By Erezi Efeunu
Unless there is urgent intervention, Mr. Samuel Maurice a kidney disease patient may not live to tell his story. This is because Samuel who is lying critically in pain at Igando General Hospital, Lagos requires about N8 million for dialysis, blood transfusion and Kidney transplant.

Samue Maurice
According to His brother Mr. Maurice Aloysius, his family cannot afford money for an urgent blood transfusion talkless of money required for dialysis and kidney transplant.
He is appealing to Nigerians, corporate organisations and Governors of Imo and Lagos States, Rochas Okorocha and Akinwumi Ambode to come to his aid.
Thirty-five years old Samuel was initially diagnosed of hypertension with a history of bilateral leg swelling, abdominal distension and cough.
Clinical findings discovered a chronic kidney disease that has resulted to haemodialysis though not regular due to financial constraint. His brother, Aloysius, who is devastated at the moment said he has sold everything he has including his car and generator told Vanguard that his brother’s wife had since abandoned him due to the illness.
He said most pressing now is that they cannot even leave the hospital even if they tried to leave because they cannot pay the already incurred hospital bills and the daily dialysis, continuous pint of blood and the payment of the hospital bills which amounts to N1, 500 per day.
If you are touched by his plight please contact Mr. Maurice Aloysius on 08111418333 or send your donation to this account Number: Maurice Aloysius, First Bank 3034101488.
