Buhari appoints Ikeazor, Okon Umana, 11 others CEOs of agencies

ABUJA—President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed a former National Woman Leader of All Progressives Congress, APC, Sharon Ikeazor, as the Executive Secretary, Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate, PTAD.

This was disclosed in a statement yesterday, in Abuja by the Director, Press, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Bolaji Adebiyi.

In the statement, the President named Joseph Ari as the Director-General of the Industrial Training Fund, ITF, and Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami as Director-General of National Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA.

Others are: Engr Simbi Wabote, Executive Secretary, Nigerian Content Monitoring Board; Aboloma Osita Anthony, Director-General, Standard Organization of Nigeria, SON; Mamman Amadu, Director-General, Bureau of Public Procurement, BPP; Princess Akodundo Gloria, National Coordinator/CEO, New Partnership for Africa’s Development, NEPAD, and Alhaji Ahmed Bobboi, Executive Secretary, Petroleum Equalization Fund, PEF.

The President also appointed Umana Okon Umana as Managing Director, Oil and Gas Free Zone Authority; Sa’adiya Faruq, Federal Commissioner, National Commission for Refugees, Migrant and Internally Displaced Persons; Engineer Usman Abubakar, Chairman, Nigeria Railway Corporation, NRC; Dr. Bello Aliyu Gusau, Executive Secretary, Petroleum Technology Development Fund, PTDF, and Yewande Sadiku, Executive Secretary, Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission, NIPC.
