Peace, a viable tool for sustainable development – Osanebi

Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi has said that the only viable tool for sustainable development and the prosperity of the state remains peace.

Osanebi said this while commemorating this year’s international peace day celebration even as he called on Ndokwa people and Deltans at large not to loose focus on the project of peace building.

Osanebi noted that the PDP led government of Delta State led by Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has engineered the prosperity and development by building platform that would enhance peaceful co-existence so that the prosperity mandate of the people governor would be realised.

He further revealed that the engagement of Delta Youth in the state government YAGEP and STEP Programs are part of government strategic way of Consolidating on human empowerment and peace building.

Meanwhile the Friday Osanebi Foundation has announced its readiness to assist Anioma people, especially parents and guardians to clear the school fess of two hundred ( 200) Ndokwa students/pupils.

The school fees project commences immediately in order to settle the 2016/2017 financial needs of successful applicants.

The foundation noted that parents and guardians facing challenges in paying school fees of their wards and children in any part of Delta North are expected to pick up the application forms free of charge at the offices of the nine Local Government Areas in Delta North.
