THERE are indications that the country’s crude production may see further growth, as exports of Forcados crude stream oil (of about 400,000 barrels a day) is set to resume at the end of September for the first time since February with a loading programme issued for October.
The Forcados terminal normally has capacity for about 400,000 barrels a day.
This came as the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries(OPEC) has frowned at the continuous drop of investment in the oil and gas sector, saying such development posses serious threat for future supplies.
According to Reuters, trade sources, had revealed that the first cargo is expected to load on September 28, the sources said. October exports are expected to be around 230,000 barrels per day, a preliminary loading list showed.
