The holy Bible is described as the highest sold book all over the world. It is a book that has all the answers to the myraids of problems ravaging mankind. In it there are lots of promises by God, of which if well assessed man will be better, but the problem is its usage. Many people do not know where to go when they have one need or the other, corroborating what prophet Hosea in chapter 4 :6, “that my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”.

It was as a result of the need to give people an easy and simple way to assess the Bible that a powerful woman of God, Folorunso Alakija, who is highly blessed by God in her family and business and wants others to succeed has come up with the ABC of how to make effective use of the bible and get results.

The evangelist cum philanthropist who has broken  many uncharted territories with a desire to help the needy since 1991 when she encountered  Christ  come up with three inspirational books  for Christians  that has a collection of her favourite scriptures for husbands, parents and wives entitled;

Pray for it, Scriptures for Parents- praying for your children, the caring mother and grandmother who draws her strength from her unfaltering belief in the power and  glory of God through Jesus Christ understands that the burden and anxiety of training , raising and taking care of children can sometimes be overwhelming and emotional hence couples need spiritual guidance in raising godly children.

In the 148 page book, she points out some of the laid down scriptures on ways to train up a child which if the principles are followed parents will raise godly children. The book can be described as a guide for parents who desire the joy and peace of properly raised children based on sound Christian principles. What is the scripture saying in certain situations , where to get it and use it for results  are captured, for example Gods purpose for the family, prayers for troubled rebellious children, spiritual growth  and fruitfulness for the different stage among others.

For every relationship to work, we must give it our all by investing enough time, energy and effort in order to get the desired expectation of our homes. In this clime where everything seems to work in the negative way, strange women are all over the places, cases of divorce are on the increase, there is need to turn to God.

The 239 page book is written to encourage wives in general but Christian wives in particular to use the word of God to fortify their prayers, not merely wish but practical steps to have their desired haven. What is God’s promise for a woman, what is she supposed to do in times of challenges in the home, how does she tackle emotional challenges, how to stand by the husband and  children and others are well stated.

It is book that will help every wife to be the real home builder and number one in her home. They will use it to unlock every challenge and to open every door that has closed against them. As a result of the enormous responsibility placed on man as the head of the family, Alakija reminds men that it is only when they lead according to the will of God that they will have a perfect home.

The 129 page book segmented into five sections  deals with  how man can recognize God as his pillar and compliment, how to take care of his wife,( respect, care and provide for her) how to take care of the children and bring them in a godly way, how to relate with third parties, manage emotions and others.

Generally, the husband is the bishop of the house and is required to guide his family in the place of worship by maintaining a family altar, the book provides them with relevant scriptures that will make them actualize that.

Written in simple English with all the  necessary scriptures, apart from praying with it, it will also enable to know most of the scriptures and where to get them.
