A new co-working space, TPXHUB, has been launched in the Opebi, Ikeja area of Lagos state.
TPXHUB is an indigenous outfit in Nigeria with the aim of encouraging co-working in the country.
Speaking at the launch, Chief Executive officer, Kanyisola Doherty, said that the Hub was set up to help young professionals including freelancers, entrepreneurs & SMES save up on startup costs which include exorbitant rates for rentals and office furnishings.
She stressed that her intention is to provide affordable working conditions accessible to anyone who requires a place to set business in motion.
“The hub also offers a rare opportunity for professionals to possess virtual business addresses which can be used to manage correspondence, sort out quality assurance and background testing as well as hold occasional meetings and all at affordable rates.
“Co-working space can be secured at the hub for as low as N1,500 for a full day’s work period, between 8am to 6pm.”
She noted “With the expanding network of businesses evolving on a daily basis especially amongst creative young people, the Hub aims to build a network of professional co-workers while providing comfort, synergy and solution in one location for its clients. The long term plan is to expand to different locations across Lagos and eventually pan-Nigeria.”
TPX HUB was set up to offer a new kind of environment, for the advantage of young and upwardly mobile creative professionals.
It accommodates professionals seeking private work space, co-working spaces, meeting rooms and seminar rooms; it is fully furnished with executive chairs and tables, projectors, flip boards, reliable Wi-Fi connectivity, regular power supply, a functional front desk and office assistant. The Hub also offers mail and dispatch services for and to clients in every part of the world.
The concept of co-working is to put in place a creative industry space, where shared offices and day rental engagements are no longer alien to business functionalities.
