Kidnappers want N30m for release of PTI’s CSO

WARRI—Thirty million naira ransom is reportedly being demanded by the abductors of the Petroleum Training Institute, PTI, Effurun’s Chief Security Officer, Mr. John Odogun.

Odogun was kidnapped along NNPC Housing Complex Road, Ekpan, Uvwie LGA, Delta State on Sunday, July 17.

The abductors reportedly contacted a member of the Rainbow Christian Assembly, Warri, the church the CSO was driving to for Sunday worship when he was kidnapped.

A source told Vanguard: “Relatives were appealing for a downward review of the ransom, but the captors vehemently refused to shift ground before terminating the call. They have not called back since late Monday.”
