…blame de-marketing

Investors in Heritage Bank Plc yesterday described the bank as one of the nation’s healthiest and fastest growing banks, with a target of becoming an industry leader in the the near future.
The investors told journalists in Abuja that an attempt to de-market the bank had been brought to their notice but that those behind the attempt would fail.
Alhaji Musa Misau, who spoke on behalf of his co-investors, said those behind the attempt to de-market the bank had put out a false story to the effect that Heritage Bank was co-owned by the duo of former Skye bank Chairman, Dr. Tunde Ayeni, and the President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki, whose family owned the defunct Société Générale Bank.
According to him, Dr. Saraki has no share in Heritage Bank and Dr. Ayeni has less than one per cent share in the bank.
