ONITSHA— The newly enthroned traditional ruler of Uga community in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, Igwe Chidi Ezenwugo has pledged to maintain a peaceful reign throughout his period on the throne.

Speaking at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia shortly after receiving his certificate of recognition and staff of office from Governor Willie Obiano as the substantive traditional ruler of Uga community, Igwe Ezenwugo also pledged to maintain the truth and justice at all times, without fear or favour.

He, therefore, commended the state government for recognizing him and his subjects for the confidence reposed on him by selecting him to inherit his late father’s throne, adding that having mounted the saddle, the community would no longer lose their rights but rather, it would continue to make a steady march towards progress in all aspects of human endeavour.
