Adebanjo resumes as  new Rivers CP

PORT HARCOURT—Mr Folunso Adebanjo has assumed office as the new Commissioner of Police in Rivers State.

Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Ahmad Muhammad in a statement, yesterday, said that the former CP,  Mr Musa Kimo was redeployed to Force Headquarters, Abuja.

The statement described the new CP as a versatile officer with commendable crime fighting record.

He has served in various capacities in the force,  and  was in the recent past the Commissioner of Police Explosive Ordinance Disposal (Anti-Bomb), Force Headquarters, Abuja and Commissioner of Police Edo State Command.

He was until his present posting a Commissioner of Police, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
