Ramadan : Pray for peace,Rep Obasa urges Nigerian Muslims

The lawmaker representing Ojo Federal Constituency in the lower legislative chamber, Hon. Tajudeen Obasa has urged muslim faithfuls i‎n the country to pray that everlasting peace be witnessed in the length and breath of the nation.
‎Ramadan is a period which serves as a moment of deep personal worship in which Muslims seek a richer perception of God.
The lawmaker message was contained In a Ramadan message released in Lagos by his media aide, Mr Opeyemi Ahmed.
Obasa  saluted members of the Islamic faith  for their ardent prayers which has been tremendous in repositioning the country and keeping her in the magnificent view of the Supreme Being.
‎The statement reads “The purpose of Ramadan is to draw closer to Allah, purify oneself  and grow higher in one spiritual life. Attributing to these positive lessons, Nigerian Muslims should remain firm, honest and use their commitment to pray for peace in the land”
“‎This is a season attracted to goodness, favour and eternal blessings , I will implore them not to succumb to despair, but to remain firm in supporting the security agencies, who are determined to fight the agents of disunity and promoters of violence”
‎Further more, the lawmaker pleaded with them to remain sanctified and be guided by the doctrine stipulated in the Holy Quran while observing the fourth pillar of Islam.
