ENUGU—Two alleged notorious transborder car armed robbery kingpins, Okwudili Nwodo of No 39 Amaetiti Street Abakpa and Kingsley Okoro who hails from Enugu-Ezike in Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State,were weekend,arrested by operatives of the Ogui Police station,Enugu Command.

The suspects had allegedly snatched a Black Lexus Jeep with registration number ISD 625 DJX at gunpoint on May 20, at Ebenano,Ekwe in Isu Local Government Area of Imo State  from a victim, identified as one Amadi Kingsley.

Vanguard learned that the duo, allegedly conveyed the stolen jeep to an automobile panel beating workshop situated at Presidential Road,Enugu State where they engaged a panel beater to re-spray the vehicle for sale to a prospective buyer.

Further findings showed that the operatives of the Ogui Police station,acting on intelligence report, swooped on the suspects at the panel beating workshop where they were arrested.
