The determination of PDP governors to ensure that the party emerges victorious in the forthcoming governorship election is said to be increasingly challenged as they are seemingly confused over who of the four aspirants to support.

The confusion of the governors follows earlier indications that the leadership of the party including Chief Tony Anenih, had narrowed their preference to Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu. However, that inclination has lately been challenged by assertions to the contrary with reports that even former President Goodluck Jonathan has thrown his weight behind another aspirant who is believed to be closer to him and his wife, Patience.

That is despite the fact that Pastor Ize-Iyamu was the president’s coordinator in the 2015 presidential election in Edo State.
