An official of the Nigeria Basketball Federation told reporters that the games have been keenly contested, while most of the teams have improved.
“I think the idea of increasing the number of teams in the Zenith Bank Women Basketball League is paying off.
“Most of the young players who came into the league few years ago have improved tremendously and playing against established stars have done a lot of good to their confidence. What I can assure basketball fans is that the game is on the rise,” the official added.
