Uyo—GOVERNOR Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State has given automatic employment to Mrs. Gbibari Etok,  wife of deceased Divisional Police Officer, DPO, Onna Local Government Area of the state, Supol. Friday Etok, who passed on recently.

Emmanuel, who  announced this during a condolence visit to the deceased’s family at Ikot Idaha, in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area of the state, said that the employment would take effect immediately after the funeral of the late officer.

He said the gesture would enable the widow to cater for the seven children the husband left behind.

He pointed out that late Friday Etok was a hardworking cop, describing the news of his death as shocking and saddening.
