Egypt stop Nigerian supporters

Egypt can now laugh to scorn. They have won on all fronts and sentenced Nigerians to another heartache of African Cup of Nations without our Green White Green flag.

With just one game remaining and only the group winners to qualify, the Eagles cannot conjure any miracle to bridge their five-point deficit to Egypt. If you looked well during the match, there was no presence of Nigeria’s Supporters Club members.

The make-shift support was a cocktail of Nigerians living in Egypt whose voices were drowned by the mammoth and intimidating army of Pharaohs supporters. We can reveal that the Egyptian Embassy denied visas to the Nigerians as part of their ploy to deny the Super Eagles support. Dr Rafiu Ladipo and his men may have finally been given the visa after Nigeria’s ouster.
