Nigeria under-23 coach Samson Siasia has selected 20 players, including Taiwo Awoniyi and Victor Osimhen, for the international friendly with the Brazilian Under-23 side scheduled for Thursday.
Both teams are using the test game to prepare for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and it will take place on the 20th anniversary of Nigeria defeating Brazil in the semifinals of the football event of the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games.
Nigeria went on to win the gold medal defeating Argentina in a very entertaining final game.
The list has nine home-based players and 11 foreign-based players to complete those who will make the trip to the South American country for the friendly.
Goalkeeper Emmanuel Daniel and Sincere Seth have been recalled from the Super Eagles squad to beef up the squad.
Barcelona B’s Godswill Elohor Ekpolo headlines a list of foreign-based players which includes Anderlecht’s Imoh Ezekiel and Junior Ajayi from CS Sfaxien.
