Ogbonna Nwuke is the candidate of the APC for the House of Representatives seat Etche Omuma constituency
He was elected into the House in 2011. He contested again in 2015 but lost out. He challenged the outcome of the election and got a favourable judgement at the Tribunal and the Appeal court nullifying the election.
Nwuke was a former Director of Press Affairs to former governor Chibuike Amaechi. He was later appointed Commissioner for Information by Amaechi. When the former governor reshuffled his cabinet, Nwuke became Commissioner for Commerce before he was elected into the House of Representatives to represent his Etche/Omuma federal constituency.
He assured his constituents effective representation, promising to continue to evolce empowerment programs to redress challenges of poverty in his constituency.
Strength: He has had robust relationship with people of the area overtime, they also believe that having been a member of the House it will be a plus for the constituency if he wins.
