NAPPS to host Spelling Bee contest

THE National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS), Sagamu Local Government Zone, has concluded arrangement to hold its maiden edition of Spelling Bee Competition in Sagamu.

The event is slated to run from Wednesday, March 9 to Friday, March 11, 2016, at Advance Breed Group of Schools, GRA, Sagamu, Ogun State.

Expected at the grand finale ceremony of the competition is the Chairman, Sagamu Local Government Area, Hon. Lola Awoniyi, who would present gift items to the winners.

The State Ministry of Education, Proprietors, teachers, parents among others professionals is expected to grace the ocassion.

In a statement signed by the Chairman, NAPPS Sagamu Zone, Prince Adejuwon David, said the competition would bring together students from both public and private schools to showcase their spelling talents.

“The competition is targeted at drawing youths attention back to their books and academics, and away from music, quick money and sex which is the bane of our problems in the society.

”The statement further said, the winners at the competition would be rewarded at the grand finale ceremony.
