The Chairman, Kwali Area Council, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr Daniel Ibrahim, has urged eligible voters in the area to ensure that they collected their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the March 19 council polls.
Ibrahim made the call on Monday when he visited one of the PVCs collection centres in Kwali, headquarters of the council area.
“The collection of the PVC is very important as it will be the ticket for you to vote for the candidate of your choice during the election.
“I am calling on all eligible voters who had registered for this card to come out en masse to collect their PVCs,’’ he said.
He also called on the striking local government workers in the FCT to have a rethink and end the indefinite strike.
According to him, all measures are being put in place by the FCT administration to meet the demands of the striking workers.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Ibrahim, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is seeking re-election.
