Lagos— Two security men, Samson Dalami, 24, and Ademuga Adegbenga, 29, were docked before a Lagos Chief Magistrate’s Court at Igbosere for allegedly stealing 18 bags of cement worth N27,000 from one Mr. Leonard Ogbuadike, their employer.
The defendants, facing a two-count charge bordering on conspiracy and stealing preferred against them by the police, were arraigned before Magistrate J. O. A. Adepoju.
The prosecutor, Corporal Cyriacus Osuji, told the court that the defendants conspired to commit the alleged offences on March 1, at 6a.m., at Lekki County Homes Estate premises in Ajah area of Lagos.
They were granted N50,000 bail each, with two sureties each in like sum and adjourned the matter to March 31.
