Barely three years after she emerged winner of the first and only edition of music reality show, Glo X-Factor, there are some insinuations in the rumour mill that DJ Switch is broke.

The tale-bearers allege that her dire financial situation is the reason she has been functioning more as a DJ these days.

As is our usual practice of getting the facts straight from the horse’s mouth, Showtime reached out to the dreadlocks-wearing singer and DJ, and she debunked the stories.

In her words, ‘With regards to the money, I invested. You know, if you pour all your money in music and you’re not careful, you may not get the desired results. The fact that I play in different places as a DJ doesn’t mean I’m broke; I’m a total entertainer.’
