ENUGU—Jubilation erupted, yesterday, in the camp of the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Church, Rev. The AG has been embroiled in leadership crisis since 2013 with Okoroafor, the deputy to Emeka, claiming that his faction had suspended the GS and ex-communicated him from the church which led to a litany of legal fireworks.

But while briefing newsmen at the Assemblies of God Church headquarters in Enugu, the GS,Paul Emeka described Supreme Court’s decision to strike out the application as a victory for standing on the path of truth.

“Okoroafor and his cohorts had boasted how they will eject me and my followers from over 30 branches had the injunction come through. They filed an application for an injunction seeking to restrain me from parading myself as the GS and from occupying any Church property.”
