PANDEMONIUM broke out in Asaba, Delta State capital, on Christmas day, as a  petrol station  and property worth millions of naira were destroyed in a fire incident.

A  petrol tanker  parked at the station was also consumed by the inferno  alongside the building  housing the administrative department and a supermarket.

Though the cause of the fire could not be ascertained  at press time, sources said the petrol station went up in flames at about 1pm.
