South South Women Organisation, an association of women of the South South region resident in Lagos, has congratulated its patron, the coordinator of Ijaw Monitoring Group, IMG, and popular voice in the Niger Delta region, Comrade Joseph Eva, on his 50th birthyday.

In a statement by Chief Vickie Djevwudu, President, and Mrs. Esther Egoro-Ileleji, Secretary, the women extolled Evah’s unending and tireless contributions towards the Niger Delta region. “His has been a one-man struggle for the people. His focus, sacrifice, determination and diligence over the years have distinguished him as a leader of repute in the Niger Delta. We are proud of him as our patron of over 10 years. On his 50 years today, it is a milestone and we celebrate him,” the group said.
