Contrary to social media reports that former Minister of Petroleum, Diezani  Alison-Madueke is dead, Vanguard Online can authoritatively report that she is alive and recovering from cancer-related ailment.

A reliable source said that the the first female President of OPEC is not dead.

Sam Piranty, a journalist with BBC Africa also claimed that Diezani’s lawyer confirmed that she is alive.

“Diezani lawyer Oscar Onwudiwe says he has spoken to her husband and #diezani is indeed alive,” he posted on Twitter.
