The position was taken in Lagos at the celebration of Umudara Day and conferment of a chieftaincy title on Chief Kingsley Ekwunife as the Ebekuo Dike 1 of Umudara.
Speaking at the event which was attended by the traditional ruler of the community, His Royal Majesty Eze D’ Arah, Chief T.I Nwadialor, the chairman of the forum, Chief Thaddeus Mbadinuju regretted that unemployment had made youths to engage in social vices.
His words: ‘’Our main discussion today is on skill acquisition and our brother’s chieftaincy title conferment. Today many of our youths engage themselves in so many criminal activities within the environment. Unemployment is now on the increase. That is why we are here to advise the youths that there is nothing like self-employment. They should embrace self- employment as a means of defeating unemployment. ‘’
