PORT HARCOURT—RIVERS State House of Assembly, yesterday,  passed a supplementary budget of N104, 287, 285, 108 sent to it by the state governor.

The House also screened two nominees for appointment as commissioners and further approved request by the governor to appoint five additional special advisers.

This will bring to 22, the number of commissioners designate so far screened by the lawmakers.

Speaker of the House, Mr Ikuinyi  Ibani-Owaje, commended members for their contributions, assuring that the House will always discharge its oversight functions effectively.
