ONITSHA—Flood victims in some local government areas in Anambra State, whose farm lands and crops were submerged, are to receive compensation from the Anambra government.
Chairman of the State Emergency Management agency, SEMA, Chief Paul Odenigbo, dropped the hint in an interview with Vanguard.
Odenigbo also said government in collaboration with the Army had within the flood period located and built 28 camps for flood victims, which he said, would be handed over to government.
