Okowa

ASABA—AS part efforts towards boosting the standard of education in Delta State, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, yesterday, inaugurated a six-man committee to organise an education summit to be held in the first quarter of 2016.
Inaugurating the committee, which the former Commissioner for Secondary and Basic Education, Prof. Patrick Muoboghare, as Chairman, and Mr Vincent Magboma, as secretary, Okowa said the education summit became necessary to check the falling standard and noticeable deficiencies in the present education system in the state and the country in general.
Other members of the committee include: Chiedu Ebie, Jude Sinebe, Mrs Pat Ejeteh, Professor Mary Edema, and Mr Jackson Ekwugum.
