Lagos State House of Assembly yesterday said it would investigate the reasons for the continued delay in handing over of Mrs. Roseline Ololo’s withheld schools.

The Speaker of the House, Mr. Mudashiru Obasa disclosed this after the nonagenarian protested to the house over the continued withholding of her schools.
Obasa who was represented by Mr. Mojeed Alimi, representing Ibeju-Lekki constituency 1, said that the house will ensure that the issue is addressed urgently.
Earlier, the counsel to the nonagenarian, Mr. Malcom Omirhobo lamented that the continued withholding of the schools by the government was violating his client’s right to own property.
He urged the House to investigate the circumstances surrounding the refusal of government to return the schools after it had confirmed that the schools truly belonged to her, and after government had promised to return the schools on gradual disengagement.
He noted that in order not to release the schools, the government was demanding for unimaginable documents.
