ABUJA – President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed optimism that this year’s farm harvest would be bountiful.

The president who expressed the view while going to his farm in his village, Daura, Katsina State on Saturday said he was impressed by the good performance of crops as they were lined up the roads all the way to his farm.

President Buhari also appreciated the decision of the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Faruk and the people of his native town of Daura to honor him with a reception.

He congratulated the Emir and his subjects on the prospect of good harvest this year.

Speaking, the Emir, said the entire people proud of the President and his achievements in officer so far, pledging their total commitment to his success in office.
