The three players were given special dispensation by head coach, Sunday Oliseh to join the rest of the squad on Monday.

“Twenty of the players have already hit camp and we are only expecting three more; Enyeama, Oboabona and Musa. They have however all spoken to the coach and will join us on Monday,” media chief of the Super Eagles, Toyin Ibitoye told supersport.com on Monday morning.

Ibitoye added that the “late arrival” of the trio would not affect the team’s preparations for the game against Tanzania which will take place at the 60,000 capacity National Stadium, Dar es Salaam.

“Our preparations will not be affected even though the players in question are extremely important.

“Musa’s Wife just gave birth and he needed to sort out certain personal issues.

“Enyeama and Oboabona also told the coach why they will be coming in on Monday,” he added.

Nigeria currently sits in second place Group G of 2017 Afcon qualifying but trail the leaders, Egypt only on goals difference.
